Welcome!

You may renew your items online, place reserves for materials that are currently in use, or review items. Please ask to set up a PIN for your account on your next visit to the library. PINs cannot be set up by telephone. If you are using a shared computer, log out of your account when you are finished.

Our records have been enhanced with searchable Accelerated Reader (AR) information, including point value and reading level. Use the Study Program search link to search for AR titles the library owns. Please verify the test is available at your school; some schools have access to all AR tests, others have purchased specific tests.

RENEW ITEMS

  • You may renew each item twice provided it is not on reserve for another patron.
  • If your card is expired, you owe more than $3.00 in fines, or you have materials that are already overdue, the system will not allow you to renew online. However, you may still renew overdue items by telephone (provided they are not on reserve and have not exceeded the renewal limit). Please call 256-442-8477, ext. 0 during operating hours.

RESERVE ITEMS

  • You may reserve up to 10 items that are currently checked out or "on reserve." We cannot honor online reserves placed on items that are "In". You may also cancel reserve items you no longer need.

REVIEW ITEMS

  • You may rate and review items in the library’s catalog. Ratings are posted immediately . Reviews will be posted after they have been approved by library staff.

  • Click on the title you want to review so that the full item record is visible, then click the Review link. You must log into your account before rating or reviewing an item.

TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT:

  • Click the link for "My Items," enter your 8-digit library card barcode number (start with the first zero and skip the last digit), then enter your PIN. If you do not have a PIN, ask to set one up on your next visit to the library. PINs cannot be set up by phone or online. If you forget your PIN we cannot provide it, you must set up a new PIN on your next library visit.
